CLVLND Sign Brings Fun Photo Op to Downtown Cleveland, Mississippi
CLEVELAND, MS. – Cleveland Main Street is celebrating National Retro Day in style with the unveiling of a brand-new CLVLND sign, a modern photo opportunity that blends nostalgia with a fresh, vibrant energy. This exciting addition to downtown Cleveland was made possible through ARPA funding provided by the Mississippi Main Street Association and the Mississippi Legislature.
The CLVLND sign, featuring Delta State University’s iconic green and white colors, offers locals and visitors a fun way to show off their Cleveland pride. Whether you’re a lifelong resident, a student, or a traveler passing through, the sign is a must-visit spot for snapping photos and sharing the love for the “Different Kind of Delta.”
"This project is about celebrating Cleveland’s unique charm while creating a space for people to engage with the city in a new, exciting way," said Clevelanad Main Street Director, Crista Cooper. "We’re thrilled to see this sign become a landmark for both our community and visitors while showing off our Delta State pride."
The addition of this interactive downtown feature aligns with Cleveland’s ongoing efforts to enhance public spaces, encourage tourism, and create a more engaging downtown experience. Community members are encouraged to visit the new sign, strike a pose, and tag the Cleveland Main Street on social media to share their creative snapshots.
As National Retro Day encourages people to celebrate the past, this new installation pays homage to Cleveland’s deep roots while embracing the city’s bright future.
